Umm hi my name is Ashley and I'm addicted to makeup haha.
I picked up two shades: Tan 50 and Deep Golden 60.
I love me a full coverage concealer and this baby completely delivers. I can totally see why people are saying you could use it as a foundation.
It's super pigmented, lightweight, glides on easily, doesn't look cakey no matter how many layers you apply. And blurs and smooths out any imperfections. I love the formula too. It does dry down a little faster than I'm used to but it still blends beautifully. It has like this powder like finish so I find a setting powder isn't even mandatory. A huge plus for my tremendously dry skin. And it's only six freaking bucks! I've actually been wearing it as a foundation this past week. I'm not mad at it.
Ok so let's talk about that shade range though.
Brace yourselves guys cause I have a lot to say lol lol.
I can't help but feel like for a brand that originally established themselves as being very diverse, where's the diversity?! I mean COME ON!! Five shades for people of color and ten shades for lighter skin tones?! The disrespect.
I'm just not understanding how a brand can spend an entire year formulating a product and this was the finished result.
ColourPop definitely tried it.
They had every opportunity to show other brands how things are done (like they normally do might I add). And I just feel like they completely dropped the ball. Sighhhh.
It completely pains me to say this btw as I'm sure you all know by now I have been a true stan for ColourPop since the very beginning. That's why I'm just like "why ColourPop? Why couldn't you take that extra step and really continue setting the standard in the makeup community." But whaaaatever! I digress.
PS guys. Did Kim K. just really try to defend racist starr on her snap?! After the events of this past weekend?! I can't. I can not. Lol I swear I have ADHD. Stay safe out there! Hope all is well. Lots of love. K byeeee.
Xx,
Ashley
