I've been testing it out for a few months now and I can honestly say I love it. It's very lightweight, has a smooth finish and you literally need the teeniest tiniest amount. I'm obsessed.
Lately I've been using it to set my entire face but I absolutely love using it for my under eyes and to define my contour a bit more. I just place it under the eyes and/or contour, let it sit for a few seconds and wipe it away. I find if I let the Ben Nye Banana Powder bake under the eyes a little too long it can turn ashy quickly. With the Laura Mercier I don't experience any of that. Nor does it provide a white cast. In fact it actually brightens. Something I'm completely shocked about. Especially for me being a woman of color. I wasn't expecting that at all. I'm so impressed.
So the verdict is in. I absolutely love this powder and it is worth every bit of hype. It doesn't look cakey, brightens the face beautifully and holds makeup in place. I even hear it's water proof so you can use it for when he takes you swimming. Lol. Ummm yes please! Sold. Move over Ben Nye there's a new powder in my life haha.
What's your favorite setting powder? TELL ME EVERYTHINGGGGG. Ok bye.
Xx,
Ashley
