A primer is key to achieving flawless makeup and these products are essential.
Maybelline Baby Skin Primer
No introduction needed am I right?! Definitely a fave on Queen Ashley as it's wonderful. It's my go to for priming and I make sure to apply it every single time I wear makeup. It blurs out imperfections instantly, helps a full face last all day and is affordable AF. A little goes a long way too. I freaking love Maybelline.
Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin Primer
I must admit, I haven't used this in ages. But when I do it makes a huge difference. The formula is really liquid-y and sets clear. It feels lightweight on the skin and allows foundation to have a more natural dewy finish. A must for me since my very dry skin can easily make makeup look cakey and overdone.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water
The hype is so real you guys. I haven't been able to put this down since babe picked it up for Xmas. Literally obsessed. You can use it for basically anything but lately I love using it to blend my foundation. I'll just apply whatever foundation I'm using for the day with a kabuki brush. Then I'll dampen my beauty blender just a bit with the Primer Water and blend some more. I find this technique really takes care of any excess foundation and cakey-ness. You can even apply it first to the skin as a base. Love it. I already need a backup. Hint, hint. My birthday is coming up haha.
MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage
Newest to my stash and my first time trying it out. It has tiny flecks of pink glitter that's supposed to help counteract discoloration and/or hyper pigmentation. I've used it a few times already and so far I love it. I'm not sure how well it counteracts discoloration/hyper pigmentation but I love the gorgeous glow it gives. I love it so much I think I'll be needing a full size now. Of course.
What are some of your favorite products to prime with? I can't believe we're down to the last couple months of January. I must say though, I'm super excited. Aquarius season stand up lol lol!!!! Byeeee.
Xx,
Ashley
