Like most women of color I've always struggled with finding a good bronzer that softly warms my complexion yet still sculpts and defines my cheekbones.
You guys! I've finalllly mastered the perfect contour duo for my skin tone thanks to the
Tarteist Contour palette and
ColourPop Swift bronzer.
I like to use the darkest color in the palette to carefully carve out my nonexistent cheekbones using my
Sigma F41 Fan Brush. I'll then proceed to go in with
Swift, a rich, deep warm brown in a matte finish. The texture kind of reminds me of a
Clinique blush. Very soft and bouncy. I'll use an
Elf Stippling Brush to blend and add more definition. On days where I want to look even more sun kissed and bronzed to the Gods I'll add
Swift to the sides of my face and across the forehead. Sometimes I like to add a bit of my
Ben Nye Banana Powder under the contour just to define that line a bit more. And done. Hello the most flawless contour everrr.
Never did I ever think I would find a duo that is not only pigmented enough for my skin tone but also leaves a very beautiful finish. I'm literally obsessed.
