With warmer weather finally gracing us with it's presence April favorites consist of nothing more than lippie loving, nail lacquers and bronzers.
After much contemplation I decided to jump on the bandwagon and picked up Vintage, a beautiful royal purple liquid lipstick from the Anastasia Beverly Hills line. I must admit I am so impressed. It looks absolutely amazing against my complexion and the quality is definitely something to rave about. I wore it for 10+ hours (pinky swear!), with zero touchups and I even fell asleep in it (oops) and it was still in perfectly wearable shape. No lie! I loveeee. (Full post HERE). I found myself reaching for oldie (but still goodie) MAC Dodgy Girl from the MAC X Kelly Osbourne collection this past summer. Why oh why did I ever stop wearing this? Like seriously. Dodgy Girl is a beyond gorgeous pastel-ish lilac color. It's bold, beautiful and such a head turner. It adds that pop of color I adore and I'm definitely wishing I had a backup. Time to search for a dupe! Haha. I love rocking nothing more than bronzed glowy skin with a fierce, bright lip and I've been turning to two blushes/bronzers for that. First up is my most perfect bronzer Too Faced Soul Mates in Ross & Rachel. Never did I ever think I would find one that is not only pigmented enough to sculpt my cheekbones but it also leaves a very beautiful, natural sun kissed look with hints of tiny flecks of glitter. Not going to lie it was love at first sight. (Full post HERE).When I'm going for a more defined look I reach for Colourpop's blusher in Swift, a rich, deep warm brown in a matte finish. The texture kind of reminds me of a Clinique blush. Very soft and bouncy. Swift is extremely pigmented, buildable and really easy to blend. Not to mention it's extremelyy affordable at eight bucks a pop. #Yassssss.. I'm obsessed. Full post coming soon so be on the look out for that! There's a new nude nail lacquer in town and I can not get enough. Essie Picked Perfect is a very pretty nude-ish tan color. It looks stunning against my skin and has quickly become my go-to nude at the moment. I love it. (Full post HERE). I've been in the mood for red nails again lately so have been reaching for my fave red (besides Rouge Lousboutin of course) She's Pampered another fave from Essie. I've never been a fan of red polishes before and She's Pampered is so gorgeous. It's a beautiful bright red with a hint of pink undertone. Such a great twist on the traditional nail polish. Like most Essie nail lacquers it applies like a dream with only one coat needed and leaves a very pretty glossy finish. (Full post HERE).What have you been loving lately? Happy Cinco de Mayo! I hope your day was filled lots and lots of margaritas. Toodles. <3
