I've been behaving myself with new makeup purchases for six long hard weeks now as I have been on a no-buy. So of course I couldn't wait for my birthday. The perfect excuse to pick up those must try products I've been eyeballing for a while. ( Hehe. )Sephora Cream Lip Stain "Watermelon Slice": I fell in love with these stains earlier last year thanks to Zara at Mouldyfruit, and heard this was a very close dupe to Lime Crime Suedeberry, yet another velvetine I've had my eye on recently. With me being the lipstick feign that I am, of course I had to check it out! The color is right up my alley; so bold and vibrant. Like all other lipstick junkies, I seem to be obsessed with liquid lipsticks at the moment. They last forever and are so easy to use. ( Full post coming soon.)
Maybelline Face Studio Master Conceal concealer: If you're a regular reader of Queen Ashley you would know I'm constantly raving about Maybelline's Fit Me as it's easily my holy grail concealer. So of course once this hit the beauty world I just had to see what all the hype was about. I've only tried it once so haven't formed a complete opinion but I'll just sayyyy .. womp womp. To keep it nice and short. But again these are my initial thoughts so I'll update you on that soon.
Nars Lip Pencil in "Cruella" & "Rikugien": I've been absolutely dyingg to try any Nars lip product so was beyond thrilled to receive these beauties from Sephora for my birthday. This is hands down the beauty product I'm most excited about. I've really been into reds and nudes lately so these two are perf. First up is Cruella a beautiful true red matte color. Upon swatching I instantly noticed the smoothness, almost velvety like texture. It glides on so wonderfully and I see this being a new fave of the moment. The other color, Rikugien is a pretty nude-y pink. I haven't yet worn it but I'm expecting equally amazing results. ( Full post soon.)
My dreams have finally come true and we've been slammed with a full seven inches of snow! They say an additional one to three inches is in forecast so hopefully another snow day is to come ( fingers crossed) . I hope you've had an amazing start to the week. Until next time, toodles. <3
