It's been quite some time since I've had the urge to purchase a new M.A.C lipstick. Honestly, nothing has caught my attention lately. That is, until the new Alluring Aquatic collection was released.
I've been a complete sucker for purple lipsticks lately and needed Goddess of the Sea to add to my surprising growing purple collection. My fiancé picked up not one but TWO lippies for me. Love him! And I must say the packaging is so fabulous and the color isn't too bad either. ;)
Goddess of the Sea is a soft, medium purple cremesheen.
I don't usually go for cremesheen lippies but I'm so happy I gave it a try. The color isn't as dark as I initially thought it would be but is still a very beautiful light purple. It's non drying and lasts a few hours before touch ups are necessary. And can we just take a moment and check out that packaging?! Absolutely stunning! One of the prettiest I've seen.
I was extremely nervous Goddess of the Sea was a color I already owned in my collection, so I had to put it to the test. Take a look for yourselves.
