Happy Friday! I've officially ventured into the makeup world of blushes. I've never been one to wear blush, but this year I decided I wanted to change that. After completely falling in love with the limited edition Milani Rose Powder blushes, (Read the full post HERE), I knew it was time to try something new so I picked up the adorably packaged Clinique Cheek Pop in "Plum Pop".
Plum Pop is a stunning daisy shaped, pink-y plum blush. I love the beautifully detailed packaging. So fab!
It has a powdery (but not chalky) texture that transforms to a creamy finish once on the cheeks and looks so luminous and glowy. It is very vibrant in the pan but once applied, is very natural looking. The color is easily buildable (a must for semi-virgin blush wearers like me), something I truly love.
To be honest, I was a little disappointed in the tone as I was expecting more of a true purple but nonetheless, Plum Pop is still amazing and I recommend it for any skinned toned beauty. I'm completely bummed I didn't pick up her sister, Ginger Pop. ;( Until next time, toodles.
